best travel guitar breedlove c250 t vs baby taylor vs gs mini taylor vs martin lxme?

I want a good travel guitar, nice tone, vs portability. I travel and i need something i can probably fit on the overhead. I am leaning towards the breedlove. which is tuned higher thatn a regular guitar but apparently has really great tone. Are breedloves any good. How bout LXME, cant go wrong with martin but am just intrigued by the breedlove.
ps: am not a pro at guitar, been playing only for a couple of years.

If you want it to fit in the overhead, I think you’d have to go with a Martin Backpacker. The 3 you listed are all 3/4 size guitars but I think they’d be too big to stow in the overhead bin. You should call some airlines though first because I’ve seen people carry full size guitars in a backpack style gig bag onto planes before and stick them in the overhead. It would be good to have info from the airlines on that before you buy anything.

I’ve played a Baby Taylor and it had great tone. I haven’t played the Breedlove C250 by I can’t imagine playing a guitar tuned to A. It seems that would take some getting used to and would be a pain switching back to a full size guitar. Can’t go wrong with a Martin either.

Have you tried a Martin Backpacker? I played one once and it really played nice and didn’t sound bad considering the woefully small body. Just for goofing around on and practicing when you’re away from home, it’s not bad. Get the electric one and you can plug it in for more sound when wanted.
