Tape Blank Video
Video tapes are blank! Freaking out..Please help me(:?
Alright so I have a mini video camera. It’s about 4 years old. It’s a Samsung mini DV Digital Cam. I few days ago I was watching some old tapes on it..It was working fine. A few min ago I go to play more tapes and when I rewind it all the way to the beginning through the end the numbers aren’t showing up. I tried several different tapes and it keeps happening. It’s like theres nothing on all my tapes. Help! What should I do? My Dad said he has to clean the heads with alcohol. Will that work?
Try cleaning it with a head cleaning cassette first. That’s definitely my first guess too – the heads aren’t engaging the tape properly. Clean them and see what happens.
