Video Editing Controller
What mother board should I get for an i7 930?
With this PC I will be doing home automation, CAD, solid work, web hosting, media serving, photo shop, video editing, dvd decrypting and other stuff here and there at the same time.
I need at least:
1 PCI slot for my 8 port serial card
6 DDR3 slots
maybe a lil OC
This will be my 2nd computer build.
Should I bother getting SATA III and USB 3.0? I would like this computer to last me at least 2-3 years if not longer. From what I understand even the top of the line SSD barely use the full speed of SATA I and I guess I could always buy a PCI SATA III controller if I need it down the road. I have no clue about how popular USB 3.0 will be in the next few years.
